Delete your account

You can delete your Vallis account and everything attached to it at any time. There is no retention period and nothing is kept back.

What gets deleted

• Your account, name, email address and sign-in credentials.
• Every split you created: merchants, dates, items, prices, tax and tip, and how you assigned them.
• The names, phone numbers and payment handles of everyone you added to a split, along with your saved people and recurring bills.
• Your scan history and remaining free-tier allowance.
• Your analytics record, removed from our analytics provider.
• Any receipt photos you chose to save, deleted from our storage.

Scanning a receipt never stores the photo. The image is sent for text extraction and discarded. Gold members can choose to save the photo alongside a split, and if you did, those saved photos are deleted here with everything else. See the privacy policy.

Two things worth knowing first

• It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore a deleted account. If you want a record of who owes you what, take it before you ask.
• Any claim or payment links you sent will stop working.People you were splitting with will no longer be able to claim their items or report a payment, and they won't be told why, so it's worth settling up first.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, and only they can cancel one. Do that in your App Store or Google Play account settingsbefore deleting, or you'll keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
